PSY 256 - Health Psychology This course explores the application of psychological theory and research to specific health issues. The focus will be on the role of psychological and social factors in the promotion and maintenance of physical health and well-being, as well as in the treatment of physical illness. While the course is not biology-intensive, relevant physiological mechanisms will be discussed.
