THA 371 - PII History of Fashion (Perspectives II course) Study of the evolution of fashion from the ancient Egyptians to the 20th century. The course traces changes in fashion forms; cultural identities, political, economic, and social events which influenced fashion, and shows how the use of artistic elements in the design of clothing changed from one period to the next.
