SWK 300G - Diversity, Opression, and Justice (Global Course) This course promotes analysis of the processes of oppression including the experiences, needs, resources, and responses of people who have been subjected to institutionalized forms of oppression because of their particular collective characteristics, both on national and global levels. Theory, knowledge, and discussion facilitate growth in personal understanding of self, diversity, and oppression in our global society as well as a commitment to being an engaged and proactive citizen. Requires an experiential component.
