RES 346 - PII Word and Sacrament (Perspectives II course) Study of the roles of myth and ritual, story and sacrament, prayer and worship in the religious lives of persons and communities with a special emphasis on their roles in Christianity - Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant. Topics will include sacramentality; the history and practice of rites of initiation, reconciliation, healing, friendship, and orders; the centrality of the Baptism and Eucharist as Christian sacraments; sacraments as rites of justice.
Prerequisites & Notes Course Codes: BR. Prereq: Any PI or P-EQ in Religious Studies.
