PTR 628 - Differential Diagnosis/Medical Imaging This course prepares the student to practice in a direct access to physical therapy healthcare environment. A review of systems approach to medical screening is presented as an essential aspect of diagnostic process in patient management. Concepts of medical pharmacology and screening for adverse drug reactions are included. This course also provides students with an in-depth understanding of a variety of radiological and medical imaging techniques that are used in diagnosis, including plain film radiology, CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, and PET scan.
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: Successful completion of all prior required PT courses. Additional course fee required.
