PHL 201 - PII Logic and Learning

(Perspectives II course) This course explores the distinction between education and indoctrination - a fundamental question in philosophy of education - by considering kinds of knowing (demonstrative, dialectical, intuitive) assumed or achieved in human inquiry. The discussion of kinds of knowing (and so of learning) builds on some of the logic introduced in PHL 101.
