MUS 485 - Independent Study

In consultation with the professor, students will undertake a music historical and/or analytical project suited to their individual career interests and training. The final paper will demonstrate an ability to engage with primary and/or secondary sources, to think critically, and to write clearly. The paper content and method of the project will serve as preparation for original research at the graduate level.
