ENGL 322 - Twentieth Century British Literature From Peter Pan and Sherlock Holmes to the Mods and Rockers of the 60s to the flowering of Black British culture at century’s end, 20th century British fiction and film offer an amazing variety of national icons, heroes, and antiheroes. This course will investigate what it means and what it’s worth to be British over a century of tumultuous social and political change.
