BIO 201 - Comparative Chordate Anatomy Phylogeny of the chordates and the evolution of their organ systems through comparative anatomy. Structural modifications are correlated with function and their impact on the evolution of vertebrate phyla. Laboratory includes dissection of the shark, amphibian, and mammal as well as detailed study of skeletal material.
Prerequisites & Notes Course Codes: FHR. Prereq: BIO.Q 103/103L, BIO 104/104L or equivalent completed with a grade of C- or higher within the past 5 years. Coreq: BIO 201L. Normal Offering Cycle: Fall
