How to Get to Nazareth
From the west - Take the Thruway to exit 46. Take Interstate 390 north to Interstate 590 north. Exit at Route 31 east (Monroe Avenue). Follow Route 31 to the Village of Pittsford. Turn left at the village four corners on to NY 96 north (East Avenue). Nazareth College is approximately 1/2 mile down Route 96 on your left.

From the east - Take the Thruway to exit 45. Take Interstate 490 west to NY 31 west (Pittsford-Palmyra Road). Follow Route 31 for about 1 1/2 miles to the Village of Pittsford. Turn right at the village four corners on to NY 96 north (East Avenue). Nazareth College is about 1/2 mile down Route 96 on your left.

Campus Map Buildings

1 Nazareth College Arts Center - The 1,153-seat Callahan Theater; three 200-seat auditoriums including one in the Gerald G. Wilmot Hall of Music; art, music, and theatre wings; studios, practice rooms, and two art galleries; and other classroom and lecture facilities.

2 Smyth Hall - Houses classroom and administrative offices including the Offices of the President, Registrar, Financial Aid, Bursar and Graduate Studies.

3 Lorette Wilmot Library - Features more than 280,000 volumes, a media center, special classrooms and study areas, and a rare book room.

4 Otto A. Shults Community Center - Houses an oversized gymnasium, student union, snack bar and pizzeria, multi-faith religious center, conference rooms, swimming pool, fitness center, bookstore, Offices of Student Affairs and Student Government, and the Department of Security and Safety.

5 Carroll Hall - Houses the Speech Clinic, facilities for the Physical Therapy program, classrooms, faculty offices, Student Health Services, and Counseling Services.

6 Tennis courts, playing fields and Alumni Pavilion/concession stand - Features 6 tennis courts; 3 full playing fields including 1 artificial turf field; and a gathering place for picnics. Home to Nazareth tennis, soccer, lacrosse and field hockey.

7 O’Connor Complex - A co-ed residence hall consisting of three buildings connected by a central area.

8 Lourdes Hall - A co-ed residence hall; also houses the Marie Callahan Reading Clinic.

9 Medaille Hall - A residence hall for women, including a special dining area.

10 Founders Hall - A co-ed residence hall primarily for upper-classmen; also houses the Patricia Carter Child Care Center.

11 Kearney Hall - A co-ed residence hall; also houses a computer laboratory, Residential Life offices, and Freshman Central.

12 Visiting Scholar House

13 La Maison Française - A residence hall for French majors where only French is spoken.

14 Casa Hispana - Houses classrooms, faculty offices, and facilities for Spanish cultural and academic programs.

15 Casa Italiana - Houses classrooms, faculty offices, and facilities for Italian cultural and academic programs.

16 Admissions House - A center for undergraduate admissions activities; includes meeting rooms for admissions interviews and offices for admissions personnel. Parking is available and the facility is accessible to the handicapped. The entrance is from East Avenue.

17 Psychology Center/ Maintenance Building - The upper level contains classrooms, laboratories, and faculty offices, and the lower level houses the offices of Facilities Management as well as the loading dock.

18 Breen and Lyons - Apartment-style residence halls for seniors.

19 Portka Hall - Apartment-style residence.

20 4141 East Ave. - Houses faculty offices as well as the Center for International Education and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.

21 Academic Center - Currently houses Departments of Alumni, Development, and Marketing and Communications. Other areas undergoing renovation.

 

Parking Areas

A Open parking, except where designated. No overnight parking (2am - 6am).

B Open parking- small cars only. No overnight parking (2am - 6am).

C Open parking. No overnight parking (2am - 6am).

D Reserved lot (6am - 4:30pm).

E Reserved for faculty (6am - 4:30pm).

F Reserved lot for handicap & visitors (6am - 4:30pm).

G Open parking. No overnight parking (2am - 6am).

H Open parking / resident student parking.

Important Parking Notes
 

1. Regulations in all areas enforced 12 months per year.

2. Reserved spaces enforced Monday through Friday 6am - 4:30pm year-round, except where designated.

3. Resident students are restricted to parking lots H, I, J, K and N only.
