Accounting & Finance B.S. 150 Credit Hours - Major

The Accounting & Finance B.S. 150 Credit Hours program is designed for students planning to pursue licensure as a Certified Public Accountant after graduation. The program is registered with the New York State Education Department meeting the education requirements of the state of New York for CPA licensure. Students completing the Accounting & Finance B.S. 150 Credit Hours program acquire the knowledge and skills needed to succeed as active members of the accounting and finance professions. Students will be immersed in a business core curriculum that provides an understanding of economics, business, marketing, technology, entrepreneurial and global issues relevant to the accounting and finance fields. They will learn to use sound professional judgment to resolve problems in an analytical and ethical manner. Student’s professional education will be balanced with studies in the liberal arts to better understand the role of accounting and finance professions in business and society.

Core Curriculum Requirements


All Nazareth students complete Core Curriculum coursework as part of their degree requirements. The Core provides a foundation in the liberal arts and sciences while guiding students to pose and explore their own intellectual questions.
