PTR 659 - Evaluation and Intervention Neuromuscular Disorders I
This
course will provide the student with an in

depth
exploration of current theories of CNS

development,
dysfunction, recovery, and aging.
|
Topics
will include current research on brain
|
function,
motor development, and specific
|
theoretical
models of neurorehabilitation
|
(e.g.,sensory
integration, motor control, motor
|
learning,
neurodevelopmental treatment).
|
Practical
application of techniques and
|
problem-solving
situations for individuals
|
throughout
the lifespan will be provided in the
|
laboratory
sections to further illustrate clinical
|
relevance.
