Inclusive Adolescence - Changing Developmental Level, Adolescence Content Area and Students with Disabilities 7-12 Generalist (39 credit hours)

Extended Core Courses (12 credits)
Inclusive Education Courses - Adolescence (15 credits)
Take the following courses, plus two 3-credit electives, as approved by Program Director:

- 25 hours fieldwork in special education required (the aim for Grades 10-12)

- 25 hours fieldwork in special education required (the aim for Grades 7-9)

For candidates employed in their changing certification level, they may choose to do a job-embedded (internship certificate) practicum as a 3-credit elective.
Adolescence Education Methodology Course (3 credits)
Take one course from the following:
DASA/Bullying Workshop
Per NYS requirements, all candidates in teacher certification programs must show completion of this mandated workshop. Students pursuing additional/professional certification must have this in place either through a workshop that is verified on TEACH, or through a completed state-approved course linked to their initial certification program.
Inclusive Adolescence Capstone Core (3 credits)
INCL 690 and INAD 699 must be taken concurrently
