Business, Artificial Intelligence, and Innovation is an interdisciplinary major combining elements of business, artificial intelligence, leadership, and innovation. This program provides a technical foundation in AI and related technologies. This major will give students an understanding of the creativity and innovation needed to identify beneficial artificial intelligence opportunities within a firm or organization. Students will become change agents and develop an innovative mindset to create leading edge solutions for an organization.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Develop Strategies: Analyze scenarios and integrate diverse business principles to devise innovative organizational strategies.
- Communicate Across Contexts: Exhibit excellence in written, oral, and visual communication skills across academic and professional environments, engaging effectively with peers, supervisors, and instructors.
- Apply Data Science and AI: Conduct situational analyses and skillfully apply contemporary data science, generative AI and other technical methodologies to solve problems.
- Evaluate Ethical Implications: Utilize ethical and moral theories to scrutinize opportunities and challenges in business and digital innovation, assessing potential actions and their outcomes.
- Understand AI Contributions: Understand the role of machine learning and artificial intelligence in supporting operational and strategic objectives.
- Implement AI Solutions: Apply leadership, teamwork, and project management skills to implement effective artificial intelligence solutions.
