German Studies - Minor

Students choosing to minor in German Studies have three options. All options require that students earn a total of 18 credits to complete the minor.

Option 1 - Study Abroad in Salzburg/Austria, plus selected German coursework
Study Abroad in Salzburg/Austria (one semester, no prior language requirement)
- Earn 12-15 credits while studying in Salzburg
- Fulfill PEQ/elective requirements with courses taught in English
- Complete one or two German language courses at the student’s language level
- Take an optional 3 credit internship
- Live in the heart of historic Salzburg
- Enjoy three-day weekends
- Travel to Munich, Vienna, Prague, Venice, and other European cities
Option 2 - German & Related Culture Coursework at Nazareth
Students who select this option are required to complete 18 credits of German coursework (subject code GER), level 102 or higher.
- Note - language labs count toward the 18 credit total
