Finance - Minor

This minor is open to all students but was designed to complement School of Business and Leadership majors. As such, many courses have prerequisites that all students, regardless of major, must complete.

Required Courses

ACT 210 - Principles of Accounting II Credits: 3
ECO 330 - Introduction to Investments Credits: 3
ECO 333 - Intermediate Macroeconomics Credits: 3
FIN 483 - Finance Internship I Credits: 3

Elective Courses

Choose two courses from the following:

ACT 343 - Cost Accounting Credits: 3
ECO 332 - Investments Analysis and Valuation Credits: 3
FIN 301 - Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning Credits: 3
FIN 350 - Corporate Finance II Credits: 3
FIN 355 - Financial Statement Analysis Using Excel Credits: 3
Note: FIN 349 Corporate Finance may be used as an elective if it is not part of the student’s major required courses. Chair permission required.
