HESAA 515 - Mind in Context The traditional view of ability as an internal stable property of the individual often fails to predict everyday behvior and performance. But why? What are the external factors that affect us? In this course we examine some of the ways that context can influence how we think and perform. Our focus will be on learning and performance in both academic contexts as well as everyday tasks as we explore research about the often surprising ways in which our minds work.
