HIS 370 - Public History An introduction to the theory and practice of public history, which is the use of history in museums, archives, cultural landmarks, and across digital humanities. Students will undertake field experiences and conduct projects that integrate and enhance their academic understanding of this field. Topics include culture, power, race, class, gender, institutions, social contruction of knowledge, American historians, historiography, archives, museums, and film. Course Codes: B.
