MTH 208 - Statistics for Scientists Introduction to concepts, techniques and applications of descriptive and inferential statistics, with a focus on scientific applications. Topics include measures of center and spread, correlation and regression, experimental design, parameter estimation and hypothesis tests for means and proportions, the Chi- square distribution, and analysis of variance.
