MUB 499 - Exploring Arts Administration

This course explores the role of the arts administrator in the management of various performing arts organizations (i.e., community and professional orchestras, choirs and concert bands). Students are presented a basic vocabulary and understanding of the skills necessary to work successfully in a performing arts center including: budgeting, event operations, facilities technology, operations management, and the role of the facility in the community and marketplace.
