PSY 101 - PI Introduction to Psychology: Natural Science


(Perspectives I course) This is an introductory course to the ‘natural science’ approach to psychology with an emphasis on the biology of behavior, sensation & perception, states of consciousness, learning, memory, cognition, language and intelligence. We will study the value and limitations of laboratory experiments, read about classic studies, and gain knowledge of differing theoretical perspectives.
