MTH 111 - PI Applied Calculus (Perspectives I course) This course will address many of the basic concepts from single variable calculus. An intuitive approach will be used that will allow the student to explore and investigate these concepts. The emphasis in this course will be on applications of the calculus, particularly the applications of differential calculus with some time spent on the integral calculus.
Prerequisites & Notes Adv Codes: NR A TI-83 or TI-84 calculator is required. Rentals available ($25/semester). Prerequisite: 3 years of high school preparation for Precalculus with a grade of C- or better and Mathematics SAT of at least 400 or ACT of at least 18. Normal Offering Cycle: Fall and Spring
