HRM 359 - Performance Management


This course operates from the perspective that effective planning, sourcing, selection and evaluation of human resources are key drivers of an organization?s ability to achieve its strategic objectives. Successful performance management requires multiple tools, techniques, activities and participants. It must occur within a complex set of external influences such as labor markets and legal regulations, and global considerations. It includes topics such as recruiting, selection, performance coaching, quality management, performance appraisal and incentivizing successful performance.
