ENGL 348 - PII Earthscape: American Nature Writers Selected Topics

(Perspectives II course) A sampling of American nature writers from past and present–for both their scientific knowledge and their lyrical expression– to examine what they see in the natural world, how they regard it, how they articulate their position, and what implication this has for our environmental responsibility.
