CHM 140 - PI Molecules, Matter and Mayhem Communication

(Perspectives I course) This course serves as the entry-level course in Chemistry. The focus is on students learning the fundamental concepts of chemistry, understanding the modes of thinking like a scientist and the basics of chemical problem solving. Topics such atomic and molecular structure, chemical properties and behaviors and the role of chemistry in contemporary society will be emphasized. Both qualitative (descriptive) and quantitative relationships will be discussed.
