PHA 533 - Essentials of Orthopedics & Rheumatology This course utilizes a comprehensive approach to orthopedics and rheumatology, encompassing anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, epidemiology, etiology, signs and symptoms. Students will acquire the clinical knowledge to create patient care plans for musculoskeletal and rheumatologic disorders, including diagnostic work-up, pharmacologic treatment, preventive care strategies, patient education, and appropriate referral practices. Prerequisites: PHA 528, PHA 529, PHA 530. Course open only to students in the Physician Assistant Program.
