PHA 531 - Essentials of Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology

This course utilizes a comprehensive approach to ophthalmology and otolaryngology, encompassing anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, epidemiology, etiology, signs and symptoms. Students will acquire the clinical knowledge to create patient care plans for HEENT disorders, including diagnostic work-up, pharmacologic treatment, preventive care strategies, patient education, and appropriate referral. Prerequisites: PHA 528, PHA 529, PHA 530. Course open only to students in the Physician Assistant Program.
