PHA 529 - Essentials of Cardiology The goal of this course is to build a knowledge base of clinical disease within cardiology. Students will learn to use critical thinking and clinical reasoning to apply their knowledge to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of cardiac disorders. Critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills will be sequentially built upon through each clinical medicine course. Prerequisites: PHA 501, PHA 521, PHA 522, PHA 523, PHA 524, PHA 525, PHA 526, PHA 527. Course open only to students in the Physician Assistant Program.
