PHA 528 - Essentials of Pulmonology

This course utilizes a comprehensive approach to pulmonology, encompassing anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, epidemiology, etiology, signs and symptoms. Students will acquire the clinical knowledge to create patient care plans for pulmonary disorders, including diagnostic work-up, pharmacologic treatment, preventive care strategies, patient education, and appropriate referral practices. Prerequisites: PHA 501, PHA 521, PHA 522, PHA 523, PHA 524, PHA 525, PHA 526, PHA 527. Course open only to students in the Physician Assistant Program.
