PHA 525 - Essentials of Gastroenterology & Nutrition This course utilizes a comprehensive approach to GI, encompassing anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, epidemiology, etiology, signs and symptoms. Students will acquire the clinical knowledge to create patient care plans for GI and nutrition disorders, including diagnostic work-up, pharmacologic treatment, preventive care strategies, patient education, and appropriate referral practices. Course open only to students in the Physician Assistant Program.
Prerequisites & Notes Course open only to students in the Physician Assistant Program. Term cycle: spring. Yearly cycle: all years.
