PHA 521 - Essentials of Dermatology

This course utilizes a comprehensive approach to dermatology, encompassing anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, epidemiology, etiology, signs and symptoms. Students will acquire the clinical knowledge to create patient care plans for dermatologic disorders, including diagnostic work-up, pharmacologic treatment, preventive care strategies, patient education, and appropriate referral practices. Course open only to students in the Physician Assistant Program.

Course open only to students in the Physician Assistant Program. Term cycle: spring. Yearly cycle: all years.
