PTR 659 - Neuromuscular Management

This course prepares students to complete a comprehensive examination of a patient with a neuromuscular diagnosis. Students will learn and practice tests and measures recommended in neurorehabilitation. Using a movement analysis framework and principles of motor learning and neuroplasticity, students will create evidence based interventions for a variety of neurological conditions. Clinical application of key concepts is emphasized. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all prior required PT courses. Corequisite: PTR*659L.
