ECO 233 - Economics of East Asia


The world’s fastest-growing economies in the post-WWII period are clustered in East Asia. This course provides, through economic analysis, a deeper knowledge of East Asian economic growth and an understanding of the growth and development process through real-world applications. With the focus on East Asian economies, this course covers major issues in economic development, theories of growth and convergence, and some current macroeconomic issues of East Asian countries.
