PHY.Q 101 - Conceptual Physics (PEQ Science) How does physics explain the properties of nature? How can our understanding of these properties be applied to ordinary situations in daily life? This course with integrated laboratory activities explores the answers to these questions using the basic principles of physics to describe ordinary mechanical phenomena using basic algebra and geometry. Topics include: linear and rotational kinematics, Newton’s Laws, work and energy, momentum, and equilibrium of rigid bodies. Course Codes: BR. Open to Occupational Therapy majors only. All others need instructor approval.
