RES 498 - Social Justice, Self-Discovery, and the Ripple Effect Students will explore how their own expertise and experiences are a part of Nazareth’s social justice and equity legacy. Through interactions with Sisters of St. Joseph, Naz alumni, and community activists from a range of backgrounds and occupations, they will see themselves as part of a larger, interconnected community. Through dialogue and deep listening, site visitations and field trips, and contemplative reading and writing, students will probe the intellectual, ethical, religious, and humanistic mindsets that have shaped Nazareth’s vision and mission from its SSJ founding and into the present day.
