SEM 201 - Managing Sports and Entertainment Organizations


This course provides an overview of managerial concepts across sports and entertainment organizations. Topics discussed include: event planning and operations, facility management, balancing multiple stakeholders, flexible staffing, event security and risk mitigation, and organizational structure. The application of these concepts to specific events will be modeled and discussed. Course Codes: AF. Prerequisite: BLDR*212 or BLDR*222.
