CLS 405 - Clinical Blood Banking Rotation The rotation focuses on the clinical analysis of blood antigens and antibodies. Performance of routine blood banking procedures including blood group and Rh typing and antibody screens, antibody identification, cross matching, elution and absorption techniques will be covered. Course codes: AFG. Prereq: CLS*305/305L, with minimum grade C-. Corequisites: CLS*401, CLS*402, CLS*406. 160 hours fieldwork required. Open only to CLS majors. Program Director Approval Required. Per program handbook, GPA and other requirements apply; any student who does not meet all requirements will be removed from the course. Additional course fee required.
