NSG 307 - Maternity & Women’s Health Care This course focuses on the application of the transcultural nursing process in family-centered childbirth, women’s health promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention. Students will study nursing care of women from menarche to menopause with a primary focus on childbearing. Basic concepts of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology of pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum will be studied. Course Code: AF. Prerequisites: NSG*301, NSG*301L, and NSG*304. Minimum grade C. Corequisite: NSG*307L. Additional course fee required.
