SWK 384 - Social Work Practice/Practicum Experience II

Social Work Practice II is the second course in the practice sequence. Advances understanding of the social work generalist practitioner model; cultural humility and responsiveness; anti-oppressive and evidence-based practice. Provides students with engagement, assessment, planning and intervention, knowledge, theory, and skills within the mezzo (families and groups) levels of practice. Practicum Experience II requires a minimum of six hours weekly of supervised work in a relevant agency setting. Course Codes: AF. Prereq: SWK*383, minimum grade C.
