SWK 309G - Human Rights and Justice


(Global course) Examines historical and theoretical perspectives on human rights and analyzes the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its effects within the global community. Explores how global social structures shape our lives by exploring relationships between social ecology, culture, diversity, oppression, coping responses, equity, and equality. Supports active involvement in advancing human rights to promote social, racial, economic, and environmental justice in our local and global community. Course Codes: ABR.
