PSC 301 - American Government and Politics This course is designed to give students a broad and critical understanding of the institutions and processes of American politics. We will study the structure of American politics and contrast it with political systems of other modern democracies, the most important political processes, including the structuring of political participation and the formation of public opinion, the three branches of federal government and selected issues in American politics and policy.
