MED 208 - Psychological Foundations of Education

This course focuses on the study and application of the foundations of teaching and learning. The emphasis is on understanding successful inclusive learning environments for all learners in music classrooms. Topics include theories about child and adolescent development, language development, motivation, learner differences and exceptionalities, and assessment. Course Codes: AFHJR. Prereqs: MED*102. Requires 20 hours of off-site observation in area public schools.
