CHM 155 - General Chemistry: Molecules, Matter and Mayhem Workshop The Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL) model engages small teams of students guided by a peer leader in solving problems in general chemistry. The workshop model provides an active learning environment for students in which a peer leader leads the group utilizing various techniques for problem solving, provides guidance when needed, and advice regarding the best practices for students when studying general chemistry. The workshop leader sets a tone for the discussion in which individual points of view are respected, criticism is constructive, and all members have an equal opportunity to participate.
