BIO.Q 114 - Plants and People (PEQ Science) How do plants contribute to our quality of life? Are plants as important to western cultures as they are to other world cultures? What is plant blindness and why does it persist? This course will explore these questions by investigating the many uses humans make of plants, including ritual use of plants (for example, as hallucinogens), as food, as the clothes we wear, the homes we build, and the many ways plants can help heal.
