ADOL 476 - Designing and Maintaining Positive Learning Environments


An examination of theoretical models relative to motivation and classroom management. Focuses on practical approaches for designing and maintaining positive learning environments in inclusive middle and high school classrooms. Course Codes: HM. Prerequisites: ADOL*410, SPF*204. Corequisite: DEPT*457. Open only to Inclusive Adolescence Education students. 15 hours of fieldwork required in greater Rochester area secondary schools during daytime instruction. All placements are made by Program Director, Office of Clinical Experiences and Partnerships. Students provide their own transportation.
