RES 340 - PII Jesus Across Religions and Cultures

(Perspectives II course) For some, Jesus is a wise teacher; for others, a prophet; for others, a spiritual guide; for others, a culture hero; and for others, the human face of God. This course will explore who Jesus is for Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, and, of course, Christians across the globe, by examining images and understandings of Jesus in texts and creeds, life and art, prayer and worship as well as literature.
