Anthropology - Major

A Major Program in Anthropology

Required
ANT 101, 102, 318, and 444; fifteen credits in upper-division anthropology; SOC 352, MTH 207. The senior experience consists of a senior seminar (ANT 444) which integrates material from anthropology and other liberal arts core areas (history, philosophy, religious studies, literature, natural sciences, mathematics, fine arts), and a senior comprehensive (ANT 499).

Anthropology Electives


Students select 15 credits of Anthropology electives from the courses listed below. Various special topics courses are offered each semester (ANT 341).

Anthropology Senior Experience


The senior experience consists of a senior seminar (ANT 444) which integrates material from anthropology and other liberal arts core areas (history, philosophy, religious studies, literature, natural sciences, mathematics, fine arts), and a senior comprehensive (ANT 499).
