The marketing program is part of the School of Management. This program offers a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing. It combines the professional discipline with a solid foundation in the arts and sciences.
The goal of the marketing major is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain access to entry-level marketing positions in general marketing, sales, customer service, marketing communications, market research, public relations, and other marketing-related fields.

Student Learning Outcomes
Students pursuing the marketing major will:
- Assess and analyze business situations and identify the key issues to be addressed by marketing management.
- Formulate, and effectively communicate the strategic and tactical recommendations with the appropriate analysis and justification.
- Estimate the financial, human and operational impact of strategic and tactical recommendations.
- Determine the information needs associated with specific decision situations and with the ability to assess the validity and appropriate application of data from internal and external information sources.
- Assess market conditions and the relevant factors that impact organizational and marketing program performance.
- Effectively discuss and explain marketing principles and concepts
