Take the following courses, plus one 3-credit elective, as approved by Program Director:

25 fieldwork hours in special education required (the aim for Grades 10-12)
INAD 520 - Assessment and Program Planning for Adolescent Learners Credits: 3
25 fieldwork hours in special education required (the aim for Grades 7-9)

DASA/Bullying Workshop

Per NYS requirements, all candidates in teacher certification programs must show completion of this mandated workshop. Students pursuing additional/professional certification must have this in place either through a workshop that is verified on TEACH, or through a completed state-approved course linked to their initial certification program.

Practicum and Seminar (3 credits)
