A multidisciplinary Women’s Studies minor is available to accompany any major.
Required Courses
Students in this program must take WMS 201 Introduction to Women’s Studies and WMS 440 Seminar in Women’s Studies.
Internships are strongly encouraged.
Electives
In addition to the two required courses, students must take four elective courses, (at least two of which must be outside the major area,) from the following: ANT/SOC 313; ART 359; ECO 338, ECO 351; ENGL 245, ENGL 342, ENGL 344, ENGL 345, ENGL 346, ENGL 434; LIT 308, LIT 310; FRN 402; HIS 212, HIS 320; MGT 335; MUS 205; PHL 280, PHL 285; PSY 223, PSY/SOC 327; RES 320, RES 331, RES 347, RES 360; SCI 221; SOC 314; SPN 306, SPN 401; SWK 300, SWK 305, SWK 494; THA 226; WMS 300, WMS 302.
